Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and remember information about your visit, such as your preferences and login status.

Session vs Persistent Cookies

• Session cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser.
• Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them manually.

Related Technologies

This policy also covers related tracking technologies, including web beacons, pixel tags, and analytics scripts, which may be used alongside or in place of cookies to collect usage data.

Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled. They include AWS Cognito authentication cookies (identity token, access token, refresh token, clock drift, and LastAuthUser) which manage your login session. Local storage is also used to persist theme and unit preferences.

Analytics Cookies

Google Analytics is not yet active on the Platform. This section will be updated when analytics tracking is enabled.

Preference Cookies

Not currently used. User preferences are stored in localStorage rather than cookies.

The following register details the cookies currently in use or planned for use on the Platform.

Cookies and related technologies may collect the following information:

• IP address
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Pages visited
• Time and date of visit
• Time spent on each page
• Links clicked
• Referral URL
• Session identifiers

Google Analytics uses IP anonymisation by default (GA4 default behaviour). No individual profiling is conducted using cookie data, and cookie data is not sold to any third party.

• Cookie consent banner on first visit — choose to accept all cookies or essential only.
• Cookie Settings link in the website footer — update your preferences at any time.
• Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on — available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

• APP 5 (Notification) — This policy notifies you of the cookies we use and the purposes for which we use them.
• APP 6 (Use and Disclosure) — Cookie data is used only for the purposes described in this policy and is not disclosed to third parties except as set out herein.
• APP 11 (Security) — We take reasonable steps to protect cookie data from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access.

Australia does not require GDPR-style consent for cookies. However, as a matter of best practice, PB Collective provides users with an opt-out mechanism for non-essential cookies.

Cookie durations are as specified in the cookie register in Section 04.

• Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
• Aggregated reports derived from cookie data may be kept indefinitely.

We may update this Cookie & Tracking Policy from time to time. Where a change is material, we will notify you by email to the address on your account at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
